This year the actress and singer Sofia Carson, nominated for an Oscar 2023 in the Best Original Song category, walked the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. As you know, I've been working with her for 5 years now and I've always dreamed of being able to prepare her for an event like this. Sofia awaited the premiere of one of the most anticipated films of this edition, "Killer of the Flower Moon" with Leonardo di Caprio directed by Martin Scorsese. For her first red carpet in Cannes, Sofia chose an iconic look wearing a very loose red dress with a sweetheart neckline from the Elie Saab Couture collection. To complete her outfit, she chose Damiani jewels and in particular the maxi necklace Danza del Sole characterized by concentric motifs covered in diamonds. This necklace has been worn several times over the years by the icon Sophia Loren and is part of the "Damiani for Sophia Loren" collection. The curiosity behind this choice is that Sofia's real name is Sofia Lauren, which she changed years ago by choosing her grandmother's surname, Carson. For the glam we opted for what has been her signature makeup for a year now, maxi eyeliner and nude lipstick combined with an updo, a beehive with a side parting and a maxi tuft on the forehead with a retro but at the same time very trendy time that I made for her.
